My team and I are working together with Relleke and others to help improve the BasilMarket project for the community going forward.

The goal is to bring BasilMarket back as a useful place for MapleStory Classic players, with the website, forums, Discord, marketplace features, and future tools all being built around the community.

A lot has already been added or started over the last month, including account creation and login, forums, threads, comments, profiles, Discord verification, captcha on registration, verified user posting, the Beginner job forum section, an Art Section with moderator approval, post/comment editing, edit history, online activity, quotes, and item updates.

The next bigger update should include the Buy / Sell / Auction sections on the site. We are also working toward Discord integration for pings, messages, alerts, and future marketplace activity.

Since BasilMarket has been around for a long time, we would also like to hear what players would want to see added that was never added back then, or what features people think would make the site useful again today.

Updates will be posted on BasilMarket, the BasilMarket Discord, and here when it makes sense.

There is still a lot to do, but progress is being made and BasilMarket is moving forward again.

A couple of updates have been added recently to BasilMarket.

Account creation and login are now live, so people can register and start setting up their accounts.

Forums, threads, comments, and profiles are also starting to become viewable. They are still a work in progress, but users are currently able to comment. Creating new posts is not fully available to everyone yet, but it is being worked on.

It is still early and there is a lot more that needs to be built, cleaned up, and improved, but progress is being made.

The goal is to bring BasilMarket back as a useful community hub for MapleStory Classic, with forums, profiles, marketplace tools, and more over time.

Hey everyone,

I made a Discord server for MapleStory Classic for players who want a cleaner and more organized place to talk, party up, trade, ask questions, and stay connected with the community.

One thing I wanted to avoid is constant unnecessary pings. Instead, members can pick notification roles, so you only get pinged for the things you actually care about.

The server also has moderation bots and custom features being added to help keep things organized and useful.
