About to convert to pension phase - anything I should know?

64M - anything I should know before converting to pension phase with Hostplus? 810k which was all non-con and downsizer from the past three months plus the 10k it's gone up.

Also have 400k cash leftover to invest so still trying to decide whether to leave that in HISA or VHY or something.

And $400k in VGS/VAS and 100k beer money and PPOR and partner works.

Pension phase or start in accumulation another year or two.

Edit * stay in accumulation* 64M will have 810 in super another 800 in etf and cash - can work part time but not atm - was planning on converting to pension in July but now thinking that 810 could really grow in another year or two so might stretch it out?

Rewording a previous question here...

64yo separate finances to partner - Super will soon be approx $810k in pension phase with no more contributions available but want to invest around $500k in shares.

Already have $400k in 30/70 VAS/VGS with a couple of hundred emergency beer money.

Am thinking VHY and reinvest any unused divvies?

Still deciding what to do with about 500k cash - 64yo - super will be maxed into pension phase after July1 - was thinking VAS/VGS and get some divvies and sell a few VGS along the way for holidays - or VHY - not sure.

But... if there's going to be CGT changes should I get moving before Budget day?
