Just realized I can fit into a perception jib. Is it safe to cut a bit of foam from the pillar area right between my heels though?

Feel like it would be just that little bit more comfy. I’m 5’8 140 so this is likely more of a class II boat for me. Got down New River Gorge in a mixmaster but that was a creek boat by comparison.

I never worried about it much but between the times I find myself in a rockstar pushing a kids boats around after a playboating swim (kid decided his hand roll was his go-to…it’s not) and the possibility they’ll need to push my boat someday I’m starting to think I need to care more.
