I'm planning to live in the UET Lahore hostel, but I've been reading a lot of negative things online. People say there aren't proper beds and that students have to use charpais, there are no trash cans, the bathrooms are dirty, and security isn't very good.

Is the ragging really as bad as people make it sound? Do students actually steal each other's belongings? I'm especially worried about things like my laptop. If something does get stolen, does the administration take strict action against the offenders?

I've also heard about the VIP hostels. What's the process for getting a room there? How are the bathrooms and overall facilities compared to the regular hostels?

Also, are hostel students allowed to keep cars on campus?

I have cystic acne, and it's getting really bad. 😭 My mom won't let me see a dermatologist even though I'd be paying with my own pocket money. She just keeps telling me to drink more water and all that.

Why does my challan say it was generated on 6 June? I've redownloaded it, but it still shows the same date. I also tried paying it, but it says the PSID number is invalid

I'm giving ECAT-2 on 28 June. To everyone who took the ECAT between 17–22 June, please share what kind of questions you got, especially in Chemistry and Physics. I also heard the English section was pretty tough

I wasn't able to take the ECAT on 17 June, so I've applied for the 28 June test instead, but I still haven't received any response. They said the roll number slips would be issued on the 24th. Has anyone else received a response yet?

Can I apply based on my ECAT score? If yes, when should I apply? Should I apply now along with the entry test applicants, or later?
