It's time for me to strongly consider disability retirement

I've (28F) been fighting for my telework RA since RTO happened. They keep denying it. I have an active EEOC case for it, currently in discovery.

I am almost out of FMLA and leave. This is no longer sustainable.

I can work if I can telework, but agency (IRS) is refusing. I was on a full time telework RA for two years prior to RTO. So I already had the history.

At what point do I ask my management to fill out their section?

This is the last thing I wanted to do. I want to work. But they've backed me into a corner 😔

Any advice please thank you.

Any other campuses no longer getting landscaping taken care of?

The grass at Ogden main building has yet to be cut or had the sprinklers turned on. It's about a foot tall now and full of weeds, getting drier by the day. Insane.

Posted by my local chapter:

NTEU is collecting real stories from IRS and HHS employees about delays, denials, and barriers to telework as a reasonable accommodation.

This data will help support potential legal action to challenge what many are experiencing as a broken system.

If this affects you, take a few minutes to share your experience:
