looking to put a shoe storage/coat&bag hooks/key hooks/bench hub in our new entryway - can folks share photos of what they've done?
NIPA looks ok but I'm more interested in something wooden.

I’ve got weather damaged floorboards and all quotes for repairs (given with photos only) have said they need to sand and refinish the whole floor.
I just had someone else out to look and he said as they are floating floors you shouldn’t sand as they are too springy to get a reliable flat surface, and that he would replace the boards instead.
I asked the guy I’d booked in to sand if it made a difference if they were floating and he said no…
Can anyone share their experience with this?
We're in Melbourne, and already have quotes/a budget sorted.
