What appliance brand has actually held up well for you?

I’m curious what people have had good long-term luck with. Not looking for a “best brand” list so much as real experience — what appliance in your house has surprised you by lasting, and how old is it?

What home maintenance task did you learn the hard way not to ignore?

There are always a few things that seem easy to put off until they suddenly aren’t.
For me, filters and the little preventative stuff are the easiest things to lose track of because nothing feels urgent until there’s a problem.
What’s one maintenance item you ignored, forgot about, or didn’t even know you were supposed to do until it caused an issue?

What’s one home detail you wish you had written down sooner?

I’ve been trying to get better about keeping track of the little things that are easy to forget — furnace filter size, appliance model numbers, who serviced what, where receipts ended up, stuff like that.

What’s one thing about your house you wish you had documented earlier?
