Hi everybody, I just released my most personal documentary portrait yet. I followed Aurélie, a breast cancer survivor who lost her areolas after a mastectomy, and Lydie, the specialist who reconstructed them through dermopigmentation.
As a solo French journalist (filming, editing, sound, everything alone), this one took a lot out of me emotionally. I’d love honest feedback on storytelling, pacing, or anything you notice 🫶
