Does anyone escape unscathed by the Gang's wrath?

Watching my favourite episodes over and over and wondering if anyone who has a meaningful reaction with the Gang has every comes out unchanged or not have some ghoulish shit happen to them.

Artemis and Z comes to mind, but they are their own kind of degenerate people with their own schemes that they are wrapped up with.

Rude tenant has me at breaking point

I have an extremely rude tenant living at my house who is generally unpleasant and verbally abusive towards me. He also took advantage of me encouraging him to befriend my cat by keeping her in his room almost all the time. He has not fulfilled his tenant obligations of helping keep any shared spaces clean for the duration of the tenancy. At most, he has begrudgingly taken out the garbage when I specifically ask.

I have had enough of his disrespect and feeling uncomfortable in my own home. I gave him a notice to terminate the tenancy recently and forbid him to keep my cat locked up in his room. According to the rules in my province, he gets 3 months to vacate. Since it was earlier this month that the notice was served, the notice doesn't apply until the 1st of the mext month, so he technically got almost 4 months to vacate.

He is making things unbearable for me. His verbal abuse and degradation have increased. I avoid him as much as possible. To be clear, he has never expressed or threatened any violence on me. All his abuse is emotional, verbal, and psychological.

Yesterday, things came to a head. I was in my kitchen at 3 in the morning (I'm a night owl) when he emerged from his living quarters to start speaking to me. I was wearing headphones, but assumed it must be important because he was speaking calmly and he was coming to me so late at night. So I turned off the headphones and immediately, he started saying nasty things, so I turned them back on and turned them up. The strange thing was he was not acting angry. He was calmly relating all these horrible personal attacks on my character and I overheard him say something about how my cat hates me, which he appeared to elaborate on, but I didn't hear due to my headphones. When he continued on despite my giving him no reaction and FOLLOWED ME TO MY ROOM, still calmly spewing venom. I began to be frightened. It's weird that him being calm instead of angry would frighten me, but I was.

I quickly scooped up my cat and heard him say, "[Cat's name] hates you" and retreated to my room quickly and locked myself in. He remained at my door, still talking until he realized I was not going to respond. I called the non-emergency police line to report his odd behaviour and verbal abuse and degradation. She said she would send officers because I felt unsafe. Of course, since it was non-emerg, they didn't get there until 3 hours later. Cops hate getting involved in civil matters, so they just told him to knock it off and if he didn't want me calling police on him, not to behave the way he is. More details of the course of action I took and can take in the comments bc of character limit.

It is seemingly going in my favour, but now I am terrified of him and feeling very depressed about all the stress. The things he says about me, I don't care about. But him telling me my cat hates me really hurt me.

My cat is getting older and therefore requires more maintenance. She is prone to ear infections, so I treat those and she has arthritis in her back which she needs medication for. Because of the arthritis, she cannot groom her hindquarters as well and gets mats which I have to gently and carefully cut off. As you can imagine, she hates all of these things I have to do for her. So him telling me she hates me hit hard.

Ferociously tearing a mat off some hairy drumsticks

I heard her really going to town cleaning and saw she was trying to rip off a mat on one of her drummies. It made me think of ferociously gnawing the meat off a tough drumstick 🍗
