Polyamourous, bisexual, non-binary and devout

The Church has long had a policy of equality. My meeting house obviously doesn't have the details. I don't think God minds as long as I am treating my partners with the respect due to his children. And when it is my time to foster, I will want my kids to have uncles and aunties to protect them, to love them unconditionally, to guide them in a direction they choose for themselves. Not because they owe me loyalty but because we share a vision for a better future for my kids where our roles may hopefully be made useless.

How do you worship on your own ?

I've been away from the meeting for a while. Silent worship isn't quite the in the absence of other people.

I meditate, always have, doesn't bring me in communion.

I read and write. It means a lot to me but nothing to my community.

How does a devout person live the religion in lonely modesty ?

Unprogrammed worship

I don't see it any other way. I feel like programmed worship would be like going to Church not knowing what is in your prayers.

I have been touched by the spirit, and I hope those who seek solace will be.

What makes Quakers different from any other Protestants if there is programmed worship ? Or is that the point ?
