Well known ex sports star allegedly rammed his car into ex-partner’s vehicle, Cork court told

Sad to see the demise of a well know ex Cork sports star. Was always a bit crazy, but a recent (other) court case sent them further over the edge it seems. Hopefully they get all the help they need.

Best of Buds

I came across this post in Instagram today by the owner of Best of Buds in Winthrop Street, on their Instagram page, giving out stink that they got a ticket while loading their van this morning.

Yes, not ideal. But where was she parked? In the middle a completely PEDESTRIANISED street. Made only for PEDESTRIANS, not big vans! Outside o’Flynns Sausages and Boojum.

I get it that you need to load your van. But it is unacceptable to drive down and park on a side street that is NOT MADE FOR nor is it SAFE for vehicles.

The sense of entitlement is off the charts. You do not get a free pass to drive where ever you want because you own a small business in the City.

The comments section too, completely supportive. Am I wrong? Surely not.

Footnote: I am also a small business owner in the City and when loading and unloading I have to be inconvenienced slightly to get to loading areas. You know this when you lease the premises you’re trading from. She’s been a danger for a long while now driving down Winthrop street! Not abiding by the rules like the rest of us. I do have many gripes with the City Council etc, I do feel like they’re driving small businesses like mine out of the City, but she is completely in the wrong here. Use the loading bays like the rest of us!

There is also a regular jeep user who likes to drive down French Church Street, without a care in the world.

Photo used publicly available on their Instagram.

Opened on daunt square in the old Argos. Passed by earlier and a que of over 200 people, looking for a free bag of stuff from a pound shop.

They all must’ve booked a day off work to get a free tube of toothpaste.

Things I’ll never understand. Maybe they’re the “normal” ones?

🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
