Those who have gotten the F2F invite with Delta this round what time applying is this for you?

Those who have gotten the F2F invite with Delta this round what time applying is this for you? Also if it is your 2nd time applying did you make it to the F2F last year?
I’m curious if those of you who have received the TF video after your ODVI are 1st time applicants? This is my 2nd time applying, last year I made it to the F2F but I have not heard anything this year after I completed my ODVI 6/5.
After completing your ODVI did you receive a completion Email or Text message? Once I completed it, it listed the parts of the ODVI complete but I did not receive and email saying it was completed… I finished my ODVI about an hour or so ago. I’m not asking about the “Taking Flight” video, is there a separate notification?
I applied to SkyWest and did not realize how QUICK the process is with them. Definitely the complete opposite of all the other airlines I’ve applied to. So anyways I applied a week or so ago and am invited to the 1:1 interview which is awesome except for the training dates available are June 18th or July 16th. So if I got a Cjo Monday I would only have 7.5 weeks to save money to basically have a month off work and buy 2 meals for myself everyday at training, study the pre training packet, buy all the supplies I needed for training and hire people to take over my clients for me to start training/flying (I own a small business). Am I wrong for thinking about contacting recruitment so they can pull my application for the time being? They said if you go to the 1:1 get a CJO and can’t go to either training date you wouldn’t be able to apply for 6 months. But if you contact them and let them know you could reapply sooner. I feel so conflicted because I want to be an FA so badly but feel this decision could be financially crippling… I just did not realize how quick the jump would be with OO. I’m used to applying somewhere then waiting a few months to even get a reply and then training taking place months after you get CJOs. I’m also conflicted because the odds got significantly smaller for newbies once spirit closed (So heartbreaking btw 😞💔 Spirit was so special!!). I also now realize I should stop applying to places until I get 110.% prepared, this was a real eye opener for me!
I feel this is the only place I can truly ask this question and people will get the inner turmoil this is causing me. I’ve been applying to airlines for about 10 months now. My 1st ever was Delta and I got a F2F, then United and got a F2F but was sent home for a covered tattoo. I applied to AA but did not complete the 1st ODVI question so got tbnt (I thought you had multiple attempts per question), I’m still waiting to hear back from Southwest and Eastern Airlines, I’m also planning to reapply to Delta when it opens since they won’t be starting training until 2027.✈️
*Edit* I know how long the application/hiring/training is etc. I also don’t need people telling me I don’t need anything “just the basics”. I also know airlines will give you a suggestive list… I am asking for what items YOU would suggest… not advice to save money and wait. Thank you for taking the time to share helpful items with me.🫶✈️
I’m preparing my shopping list for training now so I won’t be under so much pressure once I get a CJO. What are some things I should add to my list? Are there any items looking back you wish you would have had or items you didn’t need at all?✈️
Just started moving forward in the process and will be attending the FA online presentation next week. Do you dress like you are attending an interview and is there a time to ask questions? Also if I get moved to the interview phase what should I expect? I heard there is an online and in person option for that as well… if so which should I choose for better CJO odds?
Eastern Airlines… what’s the good, bad and the ugly?!
I just applied to Eastern. I have no previous FA experience and have been going through the Journey of finding my airline for 9 months now. I have my hopes set on Mainline BUT I would like to get experience in the meantime while applying SW,AA and waiting on Delta to open up again. I’m pretty desperate to get into Aviation and w/Spirit going under I feel my chances of getting into Mainline will be even smaller now. I think EA is probably my best bet on getting hired. Would love any advice you have!✈️🙏🏻
