Cost assumption rejected for no good reason
Hello,
Sorry that I’m writing this in English but my German isn’t good enough(a2).
My surgery cost assumption got rejected on the basis of the fact that I’m not out at work for at least 12 months.
But I cannot out myself at my remote workplace, I work with mostly conservative people who have direct influence over my employment and can get write me a shit performance review that I will not be able to object to. I don’t even see them in person, biweekly online meetings without a web camera is all I do in terms of interaction. Outing myself at work would amount to self harm given the job market situation, the fact that I can’t just find a new job immediately or be 100% sure that I don’t get retaliated against.
I’m completely out in all other social aspects of life and thriving, but this is killing me right now.
How to properly object to this rejection? Do I have a chance or I’m fucked for at least 12 months?
