How much does an SAT score move the needle? + Chance ME

I worked for months for my SAT, and after getting a perfect score, I see a lot of people say that it is the "bare minimum" or a check-the-box type of thing.

I can give some more info about my profile here

Context: Junior, Asian, Male, Middle Class

Regarding my living situation, I am an American citizen, but an expat living abroad in Africa right now, and I will be applying from here.

School: Also a bit complicated. I did school in Canada, where 10,11,12 are considered highschool, and for those 3 years, I was at 3 different schools (financial/commute difficulties). I am currently living in Africa as I mentioned above, and am finishing my Junior year with my school in Canada online, but I will enroll in the international school here for Gr.12. Idk if this matters, but I was undoubtedly rank 1 at the school I attended for Junior Year.

Even more context--i have been in hybrid/online schooling since Gr.3, idk if this matters a lot tho lol

Intended major: Applied Math, minor in Music or Neuroscience--still deciding

GPA: 95/100--no AP/IB offered, but this could even be considered deflated, as I lived in the province with the most challenging curriculum in the country (other provinces boost our averages)

Course Rigor (APs): I self studied AP Calc BC and am expecting a 5, will also take Linear Algebra online somewhere,

taking hardest classes available--tho i did need to drop a few classes that couldn't be done online since I moved mid junior year

Test Score: 1600-- two tests. (1. 1570 with 800M, 2. 1590 with 800RW)

Major ECs:

  1. Travel/high-level soccer--10 years. By far my most time-consuming extracurricular, and I have played at the highest levels internationally equivalent to MLS next in the US. Hoping to walk on in college. (20-30hrs/wk)

  2. SAT tutor--> improved 15+ students' scores by 200+ points. Looking to expand over summer

  3. Highest in school for Fermat math contest

  4. Soccer coach--fairly new, but I spend a few hours a week playing with kids here that cannot afford formal coaching

  5. Guitarist--honestly, this is just a passion, no real impact, but gosh do i love it. (hope to teach soon)

Plans for Summer:

  1. looking to do neuro/computational related research

  2. Gonna create a YT channel for SAT, expanding the business

  3. Preparing for Math comps (AMC, COMC)

  4. Continuing soccer and stuff obv

  5. personal statement

Awards:

Fermat Math contest highest distinction (top 2% rank)

Expected National Merit Semifinalist at least

College List: This is pretty tentative and subject to change (not to mention highly underdeveloped), so feel free to drop recs!

Dream Schools: Stanford, Yale, Harvard, Columbia

Reaches: USC, NYU, Brown, Cornell

Realistic Dream Schools:

Safety: I haven't really considered these yet--state schools are pricy because I don't really live in a US state rn.

I know that this is a pretty weak profile because I honestly focused fully on my sport and nothing else until Junior year. Any thoughts, comments, or tips are absolutely welcome.

I would say that I am a very strong writer, I love literature, and given the appropriate time, I can make strong essays. I will see if I can make a metaphorical essay because of how much I enjoy such things.

Can I get a retest?

I took the intl Calc BC test yesterday, and faced quite a few disruptions that I believe negatively impacted my score

  1. There were 3 students in the room, two taking BC, one taking AB. The BC students were given their join codes ~10 mins before the AB student because he was having technical difficulties. Fine, pretty normal. BUT, they couldn't even take the AB student out of the room, they brought IT in and the 4 proctors were loudly talking for nearly 10 minutes. (this was the module i got like 10qs wrong on)

  2. The proctors interrupted me repeatedly

first, in the middle of the same section described above, they asked for my ID (which they lacked the professionalism to do before or even in between the test). I told them its on my phone, and then they go digging through my bag in a different room to go get it--3 different times. the first time, it was my mom's phone that I was using for hotspot to stay in touch. When I said it was the wrong phone, they asked me "why do you have two phones"? Then, they went through someone else's bag and brought it to me, and I obv said its not mine. Then third, they bring mine, force me to unlock it mid test, and I opened the PDF with my passport on it. Then, they took my phone while it was unlocked even after seeing the passport, which made me a little uncomfortable but ig it doesn't matter as much

The next time they interrupted me was section two Part A, when before the module (during the break), i asked if it was fine to use a pencil, to which he responded yes. Then, 5 mins in, he comes and tells me that I'm supposed to use a pen, and I got so confused. I showed him the part on the booklet saying Pencil OR PEN and he said "yea but its preferred to use a pen". Then one proctor took my side, and the guy pulled him aside to talk, right by my table, to which they both responded that it was fine.
I had asked before the test whether a pencil was fine, to which he responded yes, and then I asked again whether or not it was fine during my break, to which he said it was fine again.

  1. The people outside our tiny testing room were yelling, there were maids talking and laughing, and children yelling outside, because we were in some room that had thin walls and direct access to the outdoors.

Couple more things:

  1. i self-studied, and signed up at this school around March, and hence do not have an AP exam coordinator (afaik)

  2. I am in a country where this is the only testing center

Do I qualify for a retest? Who should I contact? This is especially important to me because i plan to apply for a math-related major, and so far my score is only looking like a borderline 5
