Hi there I wanted to share my experience with patellofemoral arthritis only 20 years old too

Hi there to the world of reddit if you see this I fell on a pothole while shopping with my dad because a guy was driving quick and I thought he was going to hit me so I ran and busted my knee wide open 12 stitches needed but 6 years later after I changed my life losing weight from 330 lbs to 145 I got diagnosed with it now I can't even walk good anymore and I'm in pain daily just sitting anyone else feel frustrated/depressed with it like me or done anything to treat it my doctor told me pt I'm very doubtful tho

Hi there I would like to share my experience with patellofemoral arthritis only (20 years old)

6 years ago I fell on a pothole which damaged my knee cartilage behind the knee when I was shopping with my dad because a guy was driving quickly and thought he was going to run me over and lately it's been really painful haven't moved since July anyone else suffer with this too? Is physical therapy worth doing because it hurts just to bear weight on the knee in general I have to put my feet up or lay down on a bed to get it to settle for the most part the doctor recommend pt but is it worth doing because I don't want to waste my time
