New T096 flashed repeater, tx dbm default was set at 9. Why is that? I thought it was max 28. What should I set it to? thanks

Unusual high hop counts tarted today it seems with the MeshCore Open app on Android. Stock Meshcore app doesn't have same issue. I have changed to 2 bytes. Factory erased and cleared storage, still high. Seems to be app only problem. Any help appreciated!

Installing the amp on antenna mast to cut down on signal loss by long run of coax. I have it installed inside a weatherproof enclosure with two small vents (no fan). Still have wiring to do.

Does anyone have experience of installing amps outside, and how well they tolerate heat?. I see the Cel Fi RMOE is similar but believe the case heat sink is exposed outside back of box for cooling as mine is not. https://nextivityinc.com/go-rmoe/

The G32 is NEMA 4 rated, but having no fan makes me wonder. Don't want a fan if not necessary.

Update: added wood back to block southern sun, sides extended to block some morning and sunset. Old suspension bushings to add space at back for air flow. Hopefully this will work with no fan. All this is to mount on antenna mast (4x4 post).

I may later get another amp and mount side by side in enclosure for a MIMO setup. Definitely will warm up then.

I wish vents were up higher for hot air escape and some holes were drilled out on bottom for cool air to enter. Later on if so.

Got trach removed about a week ago after a year. It's has closed up just a little, not much. Been folding 4 x4 dressing and covering with the solid skin colored foam tape on a roll that sticks and seals well.

Skin peels when I change out dressing since the tape works so well. The tape is the only kind that works but is also hurting skin.

My neck skin is also weakened from radiation.

I pray the hole closes up quicker. Any tips?

I've never rooted before but I am knowledgeable on Android and Windows. I've seen mixed information on if it's been done successfully with the Visible variant. Can anyone point me in the direction to learn how to root a Moto G 2025 Kansas, from Visible with seems to be Tracfone software?
