Had bad luck on Odette’s banner but this guy saved my day on the standard pull
I finally have C6 Gaming. I am so happy. It has been so long but I am finally here.

I finally have C6 Gaming. I am so happy. It has been so long but I am finally here.
I’ve only been geeking out on skincare for about a year now, and most of what I know comes from YouTube: Lab Muffin Beauty Science, Chemist Confessions, Dr. Dray, James Welsh, and Tina Tanaka Harris. Anyway, Tina was actually the reason I wanted to try this dear, klairs youth activating drop. It took me months to pull the trigger though, because 20mL for 28 USD is 😬. But, I tried their Midnight Blue Calming Cream first, also on Tina’s recommendation, before finally caving in.
First impressions: underwhelmed. Nothing dramatic happened. No glow up moment, no “holy grail” epiphany. But when my skin got irritated, and this serum paired with Curel facial lotion, ended up being the only combo my skin could actually tolerate during that flare up. It helped repair my damaged barrier when almost everything else stung or making it worse.
Then I got suspicious again. I found out the EGF (sh-Oligopeptide-1) is formulated at only 10 ppm. My first thought was - oh great, another fairy dusting situation, main ingredient slapped on the front label at a dose that basically does nothing. But, I actually researched it. Turns out this peptide is already effective at very small concentration (in pure isolated form), and formulating at a higher percentage can actually destabilize the whole formula. So the 10 ppm isn’t necessarily the scam I thought it was. It’s just how the ingredient works.
That said, none of that explains the price tag. The science checking out doesn’t make it any less expensive for what you get, especially that is formulated with 99.9% of water and butylene glycol (per their ingredients list).
Bottom line: I’m still a fan. It soothes, it calms, and it’s earned a permanent spot in my skin-barrier-repair arsenal, which is a category I’m actively hunting for right now. Just budget accordingly, because this one is not cheap for what’s technically a 20mL bottle of “fairy dust done right.”
Also, they upgraded their packaging and I love that there is a 50mL option but it is still hella expensive at $56. I bought mine when they were running promotional 50% discount and I bought two 50 mL bottles because I use this 2x daily.
TL;DR
Underwhelming on first use, no instant results.
Became a go-to when skin barrier is irritated (alongside Curel lotion).
10 ppm EGF sounds sketchy but is actually scientifically justified for this specific peptide.
Price is still the biggest con, science aside.
Would repurchase, but only when it is discounted.
I am a returning player. I have been playing Genshin since its release but stopped during Xilonen’s banner. I am now all caught up with the Archon Quests and I really want to pull for Columbina but she seems to work only with Lunar team. Which Lunar character/s should I be pairing with Columbina when they have their rerun? I heard great things about Columbina and Ineffa with Sucrose and Xilonen - this could be ideal for me since Ineffa is the only missing piece for this team composition and I also want to focus more on pulling for Snezhnaya characters. Does Columbina and Ineffa core team enough for a Lunar team composition? Or I could go better?
