Hi, 37 here. 10mg. I used to have an excessive oily face and clogged pores since teenage and suffered with gram-negative folliculitis for years. I‘ve rarely gotten pimples or acne prior to accutane. My only problems are oiliness, clog pores, and follicutis (pus-filled bumps). I’m on my 3rd week now, my face is already dry (about 95% less oil) and my folliculitis is healing, thank god! But I’m in the purging phase right now as you can see, plugs are starting to come out all over my face like gross lol that I was planning to pore strip them but decided not to and just trust the process :) The only side effect I’ve had so far is chapped lips. No joint pain. No dry eyes. My face right now is not very dry and isn’t flaking that I can go without moisturizer. I only rely on Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser to keep my face hydrated. I wash my face once a day to speed up my healing and avoid dryness and let my skin’s natural oils to heal and protect my barrier. No moisturizer, no sunscreen, no any actives (since my pores clog easily), just my cleanser. I also keep myself hydrated, avoid alc0hol, coffee, too much sun exposure, and I’m not taking any supplements or antibiotics. My face is brighter now and inflammation has improved.

I’m not planning to increase my dosage, as 10mg is working fine for me and to reduce the side effects. I just hope the purge doesn’t last too long lol
