I am posting out of interest as my partner and I are currently looking at purchasing a small holding on the outskirts of GQ. We are after a simpler, slower life but as neither of us know the area very well, I want to find out from those living there what is life like in the city and in the surrounding rural areas.

I want to know how the weather is (I know it's windy, which I don't mind as I am currently living on the West Coast) but temperatures, rainfall, storms, and sunshine.

I am also curious about the kind of lifestyle such as the beaches, cute places to eat, and fun things to do. We are both vegan, so do you have any insights on vegan places to eat and paces to shop to get vegan products (like dried soy mince, etc), the things we don't usually find in a Checkers)

Both my partner and I are nature lovers and enjoy outdoorsy activities. Where would you recommend we start when it comes to exploring the nature of the area?

And lastly, how queer friendly is GQ?
