Getting closer!

I started mid January at 223 pounds, weigh 150 pounds today and went shopping for clothing. I bought pants in a 8 petite or 10 petite depending on the fit! When I started in was a 20 petite!

5' 1".

Im not sure what my goal is but I know im getting closer. Im still soft and dont work out at all, but am getting comfortable in my body.

As i get closer I do notice the weight loss has slowed down a bit, now about 2 pounds. Still happy but dreading the ramp down ad I dont want to take a pill forever....

64 Pounds Down... and Giving Myself Grace

I went home for two weeks after the unexpected passing of my father-in-law. Before traveling, I had reached my lowest weight of 159.

During those two weeks, I ate what I could, when I could. I didn't want my family worrying about finding foods that fit my plan, so if we had chicken tenders, I had chicken tenders. My focus was on being present with my family, not counting calories.

I'm posting this as a way to give myself some grace and hold myself accountable. I've lost 64 pounds since January, and I took my Wegovy every day while I was away. When I get home, I'm getting right back to my routine.

I normally weigh myself every day, but Tuesday is my official weigh-in. My parents don't have a scale, so I haven't weighed myself in almost two weeks. I fully expect to be up a few pounds, and that's okay. This was an unexpected and heartbreaking situation, and I'm reminding myself that one difficult chapter doesn't erase six months of progress.

Also... my mom texted me to let me know I "accidentally" left my share of the treats at her house. 🤫
