TR Men and Dramatic Women in Movies: Pirates of the Caribbean

Hey everyone. I was recently rewatching Pirates of the Caribbean (I am a huge fan) and I have noticed how wonderful the three leads look next to each other and how they seem to complement each other.

Unsurprisingly, Depp and Bloom share the same ID, while Keira is the complete opposite!

I love how they chose two Romantic family men and a Dramatic woman for the movie. It looks extremely magnetic on screen.

Usually, I like couples of the same family but the opposite also worked!

I also think that it's interesting how despite Jack and Will being completely different characters you can see a similarity between the two of them appearance-wise.

Yet Elizabeth is a revolutionary "damsel in distress".

Do you think they "knew"? Not their kibbe clearly, but maybe something similar?

Platinum hair and Season Color

Why have certain celebrities been able to rock the blonde platinum hair so well while others failed?

Some of them even looked better as blonde, and not just normal blonde, but almost white. What is it? Do you think it has to do with their season?

Other actors look lost or fake with such light hair.

I have used the three examples of people who became iconic thanks to their ability of rocking this hairstyle.

Emilia Clarke as Daenerys.

Jason Isaacs as Lucius.

And, above everyone else, Orlando Bloom as Legolas.

They are all beautiful people and look great IRL but Orlando for example looks even better as a platinum blonde according to many.

And they don't merely look nice but they also look quite natural.

Henry Cavill, who would be hot even with rainbow coloured braids, was more uncanny with his wig on in The Witcher. Still pretty but he is much better in real life I believe.

What does this list of three celebs I love and three I neve found attractive say about me?

I had to redo it because it fucked up the order of pictures.

First three: Orlando Bloom. Heath Ledger. Viggo Mortensen. Forever crushes.

Last three: I never liked them and never felt their appeal. They are not ugly by any means but they are so opposite of whatever I like.

And I suppose it's not even a matter of pretty boy/rugged man because it's a good mix of both. I would never call Viggo Mortensen a pretty boy but Orlando was quite a good example of that.

Perhaps the men in the second list look too modern to me.

I think Orlando Bloom in the pirates period was probably the actor I fancied the most in my life. He is my type 100%.

Viggo Mortemsen's Type?

Since there has been a discussion on the types of the LOTR elves, I thought we should tackle the hottest man of Middle Earth: Viggo Mortensen.

I put some pictures where he is next to verified actors.

R Elijah Wood. TR Orlando Bloom. FN Liv Tyler.

Does it help?

I suppose whatever type he is, Sean Bean might be too.

To me Viggo is THE representation of FN but I could be influenced by his essence. He is so hot, effortless, and cool. I love the way he looks when he is more unkept/wild. We all know he was hotter as Strider and than he was as the king ahaha.

He does however have a very aristocratic beauty as wellm

Body wise, he is not particularly ripped but he seems like one of those people who looks naturally lean and fit.

What do you think?

My guesses are FN and DC.

Iconic cinematic couples and their Kibbe IDs.

Hi everyone!

I'd like to ask a weird, perhaps a little silly, question in regard to how many iconic cinematic couples might have matching (not necessarily the same) Kibbe IDs.

I don't know if you ever watched a movie and thought that the two actors who are supposed to play the lovers look not only gorgeous but also "right" together. Perhaps something about their features, body types, essences seems to match and also work according to their roles in the story. The final result is both aesthetically beautiful and harmonious.

And has the opposite ever happened?

My question is:

Outside of the chemistry of the actors, do you think many iconic cinema couples might have similar IDs on purpose— maybe not similar but two kibbe types that work well together within the context of the story?

I have some examples here and I want to explain why:

Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder in Edward Scissorhands: both actors have a certain sparkle and mix of softness and sharpness. They are also both petite and suits the gothic, creepy but whimsical aesthetics of Tim Burton very well.

I feel the same about Johnny and Christina Ricci, even if Christina looks much softer.

Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom in Pirates of the Caribbean: they both have a certain stubbornness to their beauty while not sacrificing their softness. They both look aristocratic and appear wonderful in period piece costumes. I find it interesting here how she is the one with more "intensity" and I think it fits well with their roles in the movies. Elizabeth is fiery and spirited while Will is a bit of a lovesick boy, at times naive. I know she is D. But they really work together. I saw him IRL and he is quite petite. Keira I am not sure how tall she is but she looks very thin/dainty.

The Princess Bride: to me Cary Elves and Robin Wright were the OG Will and Elizabeth. They have both an earthy quality. They are both blonde, tanned, and have a certain effortlessness to themselves. They also look great in heroic costumes and settings. They are magnetic, funny, and epic.

I have more examples: Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. They both looks fresh and boy/girl next door. They were really cute in all the movies they made together.

Do you have more examples? Do you agree? Do you think it's often done on purpose?

:)
