Conflicted Whether to Join as A Submariner Marine Engineer Officer or get MEng?

Hi all, I am going to be going into my final year of a chemical engineering degree this September. I am interested in graduating next July with a BEng and then joining the Royal Navy as Submarine Marine Officer for September 2027, but im not sure if my post-military options would be limited if I did not stay on an additional year to get an MEng. I had a careers appointment at my local AFCO and they said that I would be able to earn nuclear qualifications and potentially a nuclear engineering masters further down the line through the Royal Navy, does anyone have any experience with this? Sorry if this is a bit of a ramble, just feel a bit unsure and can't find much information on the internet. Thank you.
