I am currently reading Queen of shadows, but I cannot stop thinking how different ToG is from Acotar in the style of writing. Each character has more depth, more story behind them, the storylines are more intertwined, there is a whole lore of the royal families etc. And even the love story of the protagonists is more mature and deeper than Feyre’s and Rhysand’s (in my opinion).

No shade to SJM, I obviously love both books, but I think that Acotar could’ve been a bit bit better if she made time to built that world a bit more.
