Garlicky chili crisp recommendations? (That aren't Lo Gan Ma or Holy Fuck)

Edit: Oh lordy, I'm sorry. I can't edit the title of the post. At this point in time, my goddamn autocorrect is now changing "duck" to "fuck". I'm not trying to be crass here, sorry y'all.

Hi all,

I'm wondering what your favorite chili oil or garlic chili crisp recommendations are?

I love Holy Duck (sold at Moo Shu), but it's a bit out of my price range for the moment. I'm not a big fan of Lo Gan Ma.

I'm about to head up north for the summer, so I'm looking for something good to stock up on that goes well with fish and isn't too pricy.

Any ideas? Suggestions? I haven't been grocery shopping much lately, so I don't even know what Superstore has for chili crisps these days and I'm kind of trying to avoid running all over town to compare Kowloon with T&T, etc.

Help me out!

Favourite LibriVox narrators / audiobook performances of the classics?

Don't shoot, but it's taken me about 10 years to come around from thinking of audiobooks as a passable substitute to realizing they unlock a whole long list of classics that I could never get into before.

For instance, Pride and Prejudice never spoke to me. I have trouble picking up on humour and social irony in literature sometimes--and that's what gives Pride and Prejudice its whole structure! So Karen Savage's readings are what finally ended up bringing Austen to life for me. (I listened to all of her Jane Austen ones in less than two weeks.)

So I'm wondering who else does great audiobook performances of classics?

Do you have any favourite LibriVox narrators?

P.S. I know this question gets asked now and again, so I am compiling a list of recommendations from previous threads, too. See below.

Favourite LibriVox narrators / audiobook performances of classics?

I'm a late adopter of audiobooks. I'm one of those dolts who used to be prejudiced against them. Forgive me.

Anyways, I wrote this in part as a confession and to let other people know (I know you're out there and keeping your unpopular views on audiobooks to yourself) that here is another reason to give audiobooks a chance.

But I'm also wondering who else does great audiobook performances of classics?

(Whether the narrator resonates with me is still kind of 'make or break' to me, and I'm sure there are some great examples out there that I have no idea about.)

However, I'm also on the hunt for more particularly outstanding narrators (especially ones who work with books in the public domain), and I'm curious whether other people have had similar experiences.

Are there any particular narrator/book pairings where the performance fundamentally changed how you experienced the text?

For me, Phil Dragash's version of Lord of the Rings paired with Howard Shore's music, was also very good and reminded me of an old radio performance. (No shade to Andy Serkis' version either, though!)

I would love some good recommendations!

Thank you in advance!
