Efoils on an extended roadtrip

For the last 4 years I’ve done extended ski road trips between Thanksgiving and April. I put my gear in an old Yukon and hit the road chasing pow. I stay with friends near mountains I’ll be by, at Airbnbs, and sometimes hotels. I ski for a week and then park in long term parking at whatever airport I’m near and fly home for a week and repeat for several months.

I’d like to do something similar through the summer with my efoil. The obvious difference is that skis aren’t going to catch fire sitting in my Yukon like an efoil battery could. I’m probably gonna buy an Adventure Van of some kind and sell the Yukon before this year’s ski season begins. So maybe I can remotely monitor temps, have enough solar to keep the climate in a small area and keep the battery in fireproof box? Or maybe I can talk to local places that deal with batteries already (e-bike/ efoil dealers) and work out them storing the battery for me for a week or 2 when I fly back home.

Is there an obvious solution I’m not thinking of or other things that pose risk to my plan? How can I make this work?

LiftX ebox failures

Anyone else had multiple issues with the ebox in a LiftX? I just received my 2nd replacement in 6 weeks and it worked for 1 ride before failing.

It seems like it must either be a water leak on a new board that hasn’t had any crash or drops or they have a bad batch of eboxes from their supplier.

I just reached out to support again for the 3rd time over the same issue. As much as I love the board when it works this is ridiculous for such an expensive product. I have a fliteboard that has never failed in 2 years. I love the LCS system and the wings from Lift but I have lost faith in their ability to make a quality product. I guess I’m going to switch back to Flite and just write this company off. I’ll update with Lift’s response when I get one.

If anyone has any ideas please let me know what else to try.
