Why do people seem bothered by the “inner North”?
Potentially controversial post incoming…
I’ve lived in Melbourne for over three years now, moving all over before recently landing in Collingwood. Honestly, I just liked the apartment, the proximity to the city, and amenities - it wasn't much deeper than that.
But since moving here, I've noticed people react differently when I tell them where I live. I’ve had eye-rolls, and several people insisting it’s not as good as the southern suburbs (where I’ve also lived, and have opinions on vs living in the Northern suburbs).
I have no skin in the game, but is North vs South actually a real thing here??
