Don't know if this is true, but apparently both Brian Wilson and Michael Nicholson are on holiday, right now, that's what's holding actual signings, cause the brain trust twins are on holiday during the most important part of the transfer window.

I’m watching the Canada Morocco game and AJ has been great so far, and all tournament. If Engles is worth 25 mill+, I wouldn’t be happy with him going for less. Same goes for Daizen- there’s no way he can be sold for less than that. then there’s Nygren- sounded very noncommittal to Celtic in his interview after the last Sweden game; I like Benji, but I’d be far less upset were he to go. Nevertheless- my price for him would be 10 million quid for starters. What we thinking?

I fully expect to get a hail of down votes for this post. But could we just ease up on the negative outlook a little bit concerning the transfer window and the future of this club? Yes, I understand that we have much prior evidence to conclude that we will continue to be a shambles. But we've also recently had very successful windows (see all of Angeball era). Let's have at least a little belief here. We've continued to be serial winners as far as the league is concerned. Should we strive for more? Absolutely. Will we? I hope so.

Personally, I'm very excited to see how things will play out under this new management team. I don't believe that O'Neill would've agreed to continue in his position without various guarantees. I'm just excited to see where it all goes.
