My monster order came in
Maybe I ordered a bit too much
A load of parts and tools where also part of the order but it would be way to much to include in the picture

I'm going to be busy for a while I think.
Had to build my two favorites immediately.
Decided to finally get into Mini 4WD as I've been interested in them for a while now, ever since my first holiday in Italy in the mid to late '00s. Thats where the Minature Mini 4WD's and die-cast Tridagger X come from. The Tridagger X is to this day still my favorite design.
Here in the Netherlands there isn't really a scene for these things so I didn't know about them before the Holiday
The black chassis is a modified knock off Super 1 that I bought locally. It's supposed to have a Opel Calibra DTM body but I can't find that anywhere.
Picked the Blast Arrow up on a later holiday in 2013 and it's my only real Mini 4WD for now. It also discolored due to being on display for 13 years. The stickers held up amazing though which surprises me, even for Tamiya.
I have a decently big order coming from Plaza Japan which I expect to arrive later this week. Which is a combination of mostly models for display, a couple to modify and a few starter packs (Blast Arrow, Aero Avante) and advanced packs (Avante Nero Mk.III, Neo-VQS) to get a idea of how to build them for competition and how parts can be used. Threw in a few tune-up packs, basic and chassis specific, to get some parts to modify them with as I dig the look when Mini 4WD's are heavily modified.
Also managed to get a sealed new in box scan2go oval track so I can actually let them drive around as tracks are unobtainium around here. But I'm trying to get my hands on a junior circuit preferably or a home circuit but no luck so far.
Any tips on how to get started and what to look out for?
It's going to be split between collecting for display and racing. And maybe there are some local folks who are interested in setting something up in the future.
