This Final Fantasy x Kingdom Death crossover Cloud has been a fun quick side project to practice more lighting and facial details. I phoned in the body a bit, as this is just a tabletop model, but worked harder on the face.
The body of the model is the “Honorable Berserker” from the gambler’s chest and the head is from “Griswalden”. I had a friend print out the Buster Sword for me. Pretty jazzed at how it came out.
Bodega Cat suit is the GOAT
Going to play in GenCon Beta Test this week for Coconut. I think Mickey’s “All Mickey’s again Shift 2” is a pretty hilarious and awesome ability. So I just mushed some good Steel-Song pieces together with all the good Ruby, Amber, Steel Mickeys I could find.
Let me know if this needs to be reflaired! This is Kingdom Death Monster’s 10th Anniversary Lucy, and the sculpt is stunning. Obviously her more pin up like proportions aren’t quite my normal taste, but I’ve been determined to improve the quality of my skin tones. There’s no better way to get better at skin gradients than by painting 🍑 and 🍒. But more importantly, KDM has great sculpts for expressive eyes. I’m trying to perfect my workflow for increasing the detail work on my eyes and faces in general. This model still isn’t where I want to be, but it’s a step closer.
