Outdoor gig in south Manchester / Stockport today?

I'm currently sat in my office at home in Heaton Mersey with the window open and I can hear the distinctive sounds of music being played live. It's ebbing and flowing with the wind so it must be fairly far away. I can even hear crowd noise at the end of a song.

Is it an outdoor gig? It seems a little strange being a Wednesday late afternoon.

What is it and how can I get involved!

Today is an election day in most of the UK for local elections and the Scottish and Welsh parliaments.

For the past 15 years or so there has been a phenomenon in the British media where they post albums of dogs outside polling stations on their websites and social media and today is no exception.

While elections are very peaceful in the UK (I've never seen security or police at polling stations, even in the centre of large cities), public discourse on politics and politicians is becoming increasingly violent like most places in the West.

Polling stations ban dogs and taking pictures inside polling stations. Usually this would just be nothing if note but I think the British media are trying to cool heads that might otherwise cause trouble by posting pictures of cute dogs waiting outside polling stations.
