Handguns, why don't I see more people customizing their grips?
Ive got pretty giant hands. Long fingers (guitarist, go figure). It's always been hard for me to get my support hand to contact the gun - my shooting hands fingers wrap too far around the gun and take up all the space, leaving nowhere for the meat of my support hand to make contact.
I've begun taking little strips of cardboard and goon/hockey tape and building the grips up to fit my hand, and the results have been incredible.
My ability to control the gun has skyrocketed - go figure, I can actually hold it firmly with my support hand now!
I basically see no one else doing this... literally everyone shoots stock guns out of the box, like theyre one size fits all or something.
Am I missing some key component, why isn't this more popular, more often talked about... It's dirt cheap and extremely effective.
(I didn't take a before picture, sorry, I should have, but my fingers impinged at least half way into the grip panel, now they end at the beginning of the panel)
