What is the argument for being an evil character?
So currently in this mod, the "good" characters seem significantly better by almost all metrics:
- A multitude of positive opinion modifiers
- Better Tech
- Better Troops
- Longer Lifespans(Numenoreans/Elves/Dwarves)
- Primogeniture
- Sailing
Compare that to most evil characters:
- Everybody hates you
- Your troops suck
- You're either far behind in tech, or "ahead" in tech but can't develop your counties tech(Sauron/Saruman/Nazgul).
- Partition Sucession, which destroys the ability of Rhun/Khand/Harad to be successful over any longer game period.
- Constant peasant revolts if you ever expand.
- Can't sail to the Meneltarma
Excluding for challenge purposes, why would you ever choose to be an evil character? Even the ones that avoid most of the downsides, like Umbar, are better if they go Good.
