Feels like every NJ town has that one thing residents keep asking for.

Building a platform for residents to shape their towns — looking for honest feedback & early users

I’ve been working on a project called MyTown Pulse and wanted to share it here to get honest feedback from people outside my immediate area.

The idea started from a pretty simple observation:
Most towns don’t really have a modern place where residents can openly share:

what they feel is missing locally
what businesses/services they want
recommendations
local opinions
community conversations
ideas to improve their township

At the same time, local businesses often struggle to genuinely connect with nearby residents unless they spend heavily on ads or social media.

So I started building MyTown Pulse — a community-driven platform where:

residents can discuss what they want to see in their towns
people can share local ideas, feedback, and recommendations
businesses can introduce themselves locally
local businesses can share services, updates, and offers with nearby communities

The goal is to make towns feel more connected and give residents more of a voice in shaping their local communities.
