Rules question & Aqshy combos
My brothers in darkness,
Aqshy has come upon us.
To me, the last months have been hard. The new battle tomes come with an amount of rules & synergies that make our rules feel each time more older and weaker. I am fighting an uphill battle.
Yet, some of the Aqshy tools may be of some help. The daemon prince is coming back in the game, so here come my rule question & check up :
- A daemon prince with deathmonger hero trait, fights twice, having Strike last for the second activation. We give him the rune of murder, from aqshy infernal treasure. Pledged to khorne, that gives him 6+1 attacks, doubled with the rune (or +D6A), to a maximum of 13 attacks, two time, 26 attacks if he lives to fight a second time.
Now my question : deathmonger gives him strike last when we chose to fight twice (once per battle), but if his ability Immortal champion on 4+ rolled successfully, shouldn't he : 1) Fight first, then 2) His fight first ability negates fight last, and so could he be picked to fight normally? (after all fight first have been resolved).
And so : same principle for Belakor & chosen/varanguards? And last one : Belakor & daemon prince, daemon prince fails it's 4+ immortal champion, can belakor give him another chance to fight fist with his own ability?
I searched around but couldn't find the answer.
TLDR : Daemon Prince rolls a 4+ (Immortal Champion) and gets Strike-First, then uses Deathmonger to fight twice, which gives him Strike-Last. Does his second activation happen last, or normally?
