My rig is a 7800x3d, 32gb, 4060ti and Asus B650eme wifi and im considering switching to cachy cause im way too fed up with microslop bs. But here's the problem, my motherboard come with a wifi+bluetooth card from mediatek MT7902 and i have heard that mtk has huge driver issue on linux so im still hesitant about switching. I can hook up to Ethernet but i need bluetooth for all my audio so anyone on the same hardware can you give your experience. Im totally new to linux and im willing to learn.

My brother is about to start his aerospace engineering program in France. He's trying to choose a laptop for his next 5 years and is wondering does the laptop really need a dedicated gpu because he does not want to break his back carrying those huge gaming laptop and would appreciate longer battery life. Will laptops with the new Ryzen AI or Intel Arc be e sufficient? I check the Solidwork hardware certification and AMD Radeon iGPUs were on the list.
