Is sizing for polo bear jumpers TTS or should you size up and is the virtual fit assistant on the website accurate

Looking to buy my first polo bear jumper, can’t try on in person unfortunately.

I’m 5 foot 8 (173cm) and weigh just under 70kg and generally like my clothes to be a bit loose fitting. Looking at the size guide for the sweater on the website, I would be at the higher end of medium going by body measurements and the virtual fit assistant also recommends medium first then large as second recommendation.

If I get medium, will I still be able to wear the sweater with a shirt underneath or is a medium more fitted and should I go for a large instead. I prefer to have my clothes more on the slightly loose side

Also will the sweater shrink after washing (cold water and airdrying) meaning I should go for a large instead

Are the slight differences depending on country, not sure if it is genuine or not

The first picture is from the website I am considering buying the sweater from. It is slightly different from the second picture from the Ralph Lauren website (the main thing I am noticing is the buttons on the sleeve cuffs being different colour) but looks the same as the sweater in the third picture from Harrods so I’m a bit confused as to whether the sweater in the first picture is genuine or not

Want to buy a Ralph Lauren jumper from goat but it’s just under 40% cheaper than retail (still slightly more expensive than other reputable websites), pre-verified and has images of a model in them. Is it safe to buy it?

As stated above, loads of other websites including some reputable ones have it for slightly cheaper than on GOAT as well which makes me feel more confident but I’ve never brought clothes from GOAT before. I have some GOAT credit so quite a bit cheaper to buy from GOAT than elsewhere

Does pre-verified mean it’s shipped from the seller directly without any checks or has the item already been authenticated and stocked in a GOAT warehouse somewhere
