Hey, I’m a little lost and I think I need someone with similar experience to tell me everything will be ok… Basically we got email from our hosting university that the faculty I’m going to with my friends won’t be doing lectures for erasmus students. Instead we’re going to have individual consultations with each professor.

I’m a little bit… surprised? disappointed? i’m not sure what exactly, but this is not what I imagined about my erasmus experience… Especially when one of subjects I chose is sign language 🫪

Does anyone had similar experience at your erasmus and could tell me a little bit about it? how it looked, how it worked? and do you think it is possible to still have those „individual” meeting together? Ngl but when we were choosing subjects with my friends we tought it might be smart to sign for all the same ones in case someone gets sick or just won’t be able to attend one.

The other thing I’m scared about is that I won’t be able to motivate myself to sit alone/with friends and learn everything at home, not at uni since I’m the type of person who learns easier when listening to someone talking about the topic. Any tips on that?

Me and two of my friends are coming for Erasmus to Zagreb in September. We’re going to study at University of Zagreb, faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences.

We’re looking for accommodation from mid September 2026 until mid February 2027. Ideally we’re looking for apartment with 3 separate bedrooms and living room but we’re willing to rent apartment with 2 separate bedrooms + living room as 3rd bedroom. Our budget is 1200$ per month maximum. The location we’re aming for is anything that’s not further than 45 min by public transport to city centre and university campus at Borongaj.

We are responsible, friendly, and easy-going tenants who are quiet, respectful, and always keep our living space clean and tidy. We will take good care of the apartment and treat it like our home during our stay.

Hi guys, maybe yall can help me and calm me down a bit.

So me and two of my friends are going together on Erasmus to Zagreb. We thought that because of this, it’s going to be easier to find any accommodation as we’re looking for whole apartment for ourselves.

We’ve been looking everywhere - Facebook groups, different websites, airbnb, basically everything that university itself recommends on their website.

There’s only month left before going to Croatia and every day stresses me more, because we can’t really find anything. I feel like I’ve spent hours on each website to the point I know them by heart and see them in my nightmares.

Do you have any recommendations what to do? I’m freaking out that we’ll end up without a place to stay…
