SHOW SOME OF THAT LOVE

Week 121! Creepin closer to 3 years!

Don’t just skip. Read and understand what you can do to help keep this genre flowing.

Let’s take a moment to keep this genre alive. Truly alive and growing.

Did you know that when you buy, read, and rate a book it helps to expand and continue our genre? Sounds sarcastic but most of us forget that crucial final step: rating it. This ‘project’ has always been about fighting for that reminder.

We readers and writers have the ability to enrich the genres we so dearly love. All it takes is anywhere from a few moments to a few hours depending on if you’re leaving a review or reading/listening to a new novel.

Those moments matter more than most of you understand. If each of the hundred+ that see this post every week went back to review a book we had read, or check on a review we had done previously, this list would be moving like Barry Allen finding out the last Twinkie in the world can only be accessed by the speed force, but backwards, upside down, and he hasn’t eaten in three hours.

Just be genuine. Love the books you love and give a shot at the chance that one of these could become your new favorite. These novels deserve some attention they may have lost because of issues with certain sites (happens too often), release issues, timing issues. Any number of reasons. We can change the narrative.

I’ll admit a part of this is selfish. The more books that find success in this genre, the more motivated the authors will be to write new works. I want more. Even if my TBR is as high as my hopes!

Without further ado, here’s some novels that could sure use some love!

Will be adding in a few new ones that were suggested to me soon. Please comment if you want one. Comments take priority before my list.

Nick Harrow - Witch King

D L Bacon- Ghost Academy 1 (book 1 of 3) (audio)

Tony Magnus - Dragons Fury (the walking typhoon book 1)

Marcus Branson - Alloys

Dante Steel - Superheroes Online ( superheroes online 1) (audio)

Dungeon alive - Hank Miller (So close!)

Vixen A.D. by Lara X. lust (audio)

Clint Hone - Realm of Ethnya (book 1)

Cameron D Ford - Accidents Suck (The Accidental Harem book 1)

Jonathan Vault - The Last Cultivator

JD Jacksons Into The Wormhole! Robots vs Dino’s vs me 1

Eddie R Hicks - marionette task force

Sin Eater (Ascendant Engine book 1) Nicholas Gaumer

D. R. Rosier - Druid Stones

Heidi Fisk - The Only Women I seem to Attract Are Washed-Up Heroines

Justin Knight - Detective in Mind (audio)

Omnibus!

Monster girl inn trilogy- Misty Vixen

The Wolf Kings Lair - Devan Drake (Six Books!)

Please if you could help add to this list we can, and have made a difference already. Turn a hidden gem into a bright light. The quality and quantity are out there if we lend a hand to our fellow readers and authors.

It’s heartwarming to check these novels each week, watching those numbers rise. It’s good to see the appreciation and interactions.

HERE ARE THE NEW RULES for adding fictions to this list as well as a few notes:

  1. Novel must have premiered at least SIX MONTHS PRIOR to the posting of THIS WEEKS list. Keeps the post from overflowing.

  2. I have not and will not exclude any author from suggesting a novel for this post. The entire point of me making these posts is to show love to the novels in our genre that need it. Authors see interactions and they write more.

  3. Novels must have less than 300 reviews on Amazon.

  4. We don’t use star ratings, authors tell me it’s terrible.

  5. TLDR sequels never do as well as premiers but that is the point of what this post can help with/
This means that if book 3 of a 5 book series meets all criteria but the others don’t, it will fit.

  6. I have to moderate how many works from an author can be listed at a time. As well as the amount per list.

After discussion and suggestions with our top fan indigowhyte/others I will be rotating in 1-3 new titles from those lists and others occasionally (meaning every few weeks), This way I’m keeping fresh titles coming and going.

these changes are made from direct feedback from the community, including authors and mods. You can never make everyone happy as they say but this post doesnt have ground for complaints since it’s just about what’s on the tin, bringing attention to some novels that need it.

As a personal note I will not engage with any accusation that I receive any benefit monetarily or otherwise by adding authors or works. Or any accusation of favoritism/ignorance/etc.
THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR CONFRONTATION OR PERCEIVED SLIGHTS.

Favoritism is not possible when the members of the sub have to comment on the posts for me to consider a novel. I do not add novels myself.

The patience you all show is wonderful for both IRL and technical issues.

Changes will have to happen for this list to survive. I hope you all understand and remember the spirit of what this list is supposed to be.

If I could be selfish for a moment I’d like to also promote the Haremlit website. I’ve found more new authors and novels form this site than anywhere else in the years I’ve been a member and active. Plus it has amazing games to keep you interested and learning about characters/novels/authors, clubs, polls, latest release news, etc.

Use my friggin code so I can straight up get more cards and be a bigger influence when I leave reviews etc

Show some love Sundays!! RAAAGH DO IT!!

The new 113! Show some love!

Let’s take a moment to keep this genre alive.

D L Bacon- Ghost Academy 1 (book 1 of 3) (audio)

Tony Magnus - Dragons Fury (the walking typhoon book 1)

Marcus Branson - Alloys

Dante Steel - Superheroes Online ( superheroes online 1) (audio)

Dungeon alive - Hank Miller (So close!)

Vixen A.D. by Lara X. lust (audio)

Clint Hone - Realm of Ethnya (book 1)

Cameron D Ford - Accidents Suck (The Accidental Harem book 1)

JD Jacksons Into The Wormhole! Robots vs Dino’s vs me 1

  3. Novels must have less than 300 reviews. This is the number beside the gold star rating on Amazon specifically. No Goodreads or any other site at this time.

  4. We don’t use star ratings, authors tell me it’s terrible.

  5. TLDR sequels never do as well as premiers but that is the point of what this post can help with/

This means that if book 3 of a 5 book series meets all criteria but the others don’t, it will fit.

Authors themselves have expressed reluctance to suggest more of their own work until it passes above 300 so they don’t flood things.

The patience you all show is wonderful for both IRL and technical issues.

Changes will have to happen for this list to survive. I hope you all understand and remember the spirit of what this list is supposed to be.

The new 106 ! Show some love!

A new add or two this week. I have something big to ask in the comments from all of you, I need advice about future posts and omnibus

FOR NOW IM ADDING TWO OMNIBUS TO THE LIST FROM TWO AUTHORS THAT ASKED/MENTIONED THEM THIS IS, AS IS EVERYTHING ON MY LIST, SUBJECT TO CHANGE. Because of this the post rules at the bottom have changed.

(I will add audio tags next week)

D L Bacon- Ghost Academy 1 (book 1 of 3)

Tony Magnus - Dragons Fury (the walking typhoon book 1)

Marcus Branson - Alloys

Dante Steel - Superheroes Online ( superheroes online 1)

Vixen A.D. by Lara X. lust

Clint Hone - Realm of Ethnya (book 1)

Cameron D Ford - Accidents Suck (The Accidental Harem book 1)

JD Jackson Robots vs Dino’s vs me 1

Sin Eater (Ascendant Engine book 1) Nicholas Gaumer

D. R. Rosier - Druid Stones

Heidi Fisk - The Only Women I seem to Attract Are Washed-Up Heroines

Justin Knight - Detective in Mind

Omnibus!

Monster girl inn trilogy- Misty Vixen

The Wolf Kings Lair - Devan Drake (Six Books!)

In all seriousness I need your favorite omnibi (or whatever it is)

I would love to see the ones that have less than 300 reviews so we can add them to my Sundays Listsbut at this point I just need some lists.

I really do not like adding items to my own list and that’s why I am coming to the community. Help me help everyone by suggesting some of your favorite series. It’s a major help/bonus if they do fall within my Show Some Love Sundays rules so I can immediately post them, BUT I will be figuring something out for Omnibus collections one way or another. Thank you all so much.

To really clarify here, some of my favorites have omnibi with over 1000 reviews. Those are beloved but I want the ones being overlooked.

Thank you all for the kindness and engagement you have shown me over the past two full years I have been making the Sunday posts.

EDIT: My harem heaven above thank you all so much. I’ll start up a list in a minute and start figuring out logistics for posting. Thank you for proving my point about how supportive and invited this community is.
