training while on an elimination diet

hi everyone, I'm new to the allergy ridden dog club lol

my nearly 1 year old amstaff has been having some very worrying GI issues off and on for about a month. after the second round of metronidazole didn't help, my vet decided since the breed is prone to food sensitivities and he's had some skin issues and an ear infection in the past, it was worth trying some hypoallergenic food (hill's d/d venison and potato)

unfortunately this whole thing has coincided with his obedience classes. I have already paid for them, cannot get a refund and he really enjoys them so i would hate to drop out, but he has trouble focusing when there's so many other dogs around him unless I've got some high value treats. he's not usually picky, but my vet gave us some of the hills hypo treats that are compatible with his diet and he hates them. straight up will not eat them.

so i guess I'm just asking if anyone else has run into this dilemma? normally I'd just use toys instead but we're doing a lot of luring in class and that'd be difficult to do with a toy

tuning camber: temperature vs looking at the camber in turns

i started tuning my own cars in fh5 pretty recently and i think I've gotten pretty decent at it, but one thing i can't seem to figure out is camber. I've heard some people say that the best way to tune this is to look at the camber angle of the outside tires in telemetry during a turn and add more negative if the number goes above zero. I've heard other people say that it's better to just look at the tire temps and make sure they're heating up evenly. so i was just wondering if there was a definitive answer to which way is better or does it all boil down to personal preference? i feel like every time i try the first method my tires end up heating super inconsistently

i had no idea this sub existed lol

I'm a trans guy and a lifelong car nerd. i don't drive anything too interesting compared to some of the stuff I've seen here, just a '15 crosstrek with a cvt but i figured I'd share anyway :)

▲ 1 r/utis

I've been in uti hell for the past few weeks. my symptoms have been mild (mostly just feeling like i need to piss 24/7) but incredibly persistent.

started with a 7 day course of bactrim prescribed by urgent care, it took until maybe day 5, but i started to feel better until a couple hours after my final dose on day 7 when i started feeling that annoying urge to piss again.

went straight to my primary and got a shot of rocephin and a 10 day course of cipro (yes i am aware of the risks. was desperate and decided to proceed with caution. funnily enough it has been by far the easiest antibiotic I've taken. no side effects aside from a very mild headache). that i was to start the next day (this last Tuesday)

there was some annoying insurance bullshit and i ended up having to start it tuesday evening with dinner instead of that morning. but by thursday i was feeling almost completely back to normal.

last night (friday) literally like two hours after i had just been thinking about how much better i felt, the urge to piss and that slight burning feeling in my urethra and bladder returned.

no other new symptoms: color looks fine (pale yellow), no fever, no nausea, no chills, some mild flank pain but i get that with every uti and have never had a kidney infection. just needing to piss every 20 minutes. I'm less than halfway through the cipro course, is it possible that it'll still end up working or does this mean my infection's resistant to it? could this just be residual inflammation?

i am planning on calling my primary on Monday (they are closed on weekends and i really don't like my urgent care, so unless i suddenly get way worse I'd prefer to avoid going there) and asking if they'll do a culture regardless, but I'm just beyond frustrated. i felt SO much better this time yesterday, it's infuriating.

i also have severe medical anxiety so I've been having to constantly convince myself that I'm not dying
