Estimated average caloric expenditure?
I've already done some research, but I'm curious what reddit would think. What do you think is my dailey caloric expenditure?
For reference, I'm male, 6'3" (190 cm), ~300lbs (136kg), and 26 years old.
Primary forms of excercise:
- volleyball (once a week) ~3 hrs
- arm wresting practice (once a week) ~1.5 hrs
Other notes: I do carry a decent amount of muscle (from a previous weightlifting journey). Not sure how to describe it - I think most people would think of me as "big" rather than "fat". I have visually thick arms, large traps, wide shoulders, and my upper pecs are visible. An experienced trainer could probably tell that I worked on the "typical guy muscles" more than the rest.
Other stuff for those curious: my recovery from volleyball and arm wrestling days has definitely hindered my other forms of excercise. I plan on (re)starting a full-body hypertrophy program, and mixing in walks (for step count) and a dedicated arm wrestling strength training day.
Main goal right now is to lose weight. I'm eating <2500/day and ~150g/day. Yes, I know thats low for both numbers, especially the protein. It's a work-in-progress.
