My 2nd try at making a plushie
Meet Bubblegum! I posted last week about my first try making a plushie, a felt bat I named Forrest. I wanted to try making another plush using regular fabric and here she is!

Sorry if this post isn't allowed. I'm not distributing or linking to anything. Okay anyways....
I bought a vinyl record. It's beautiful. But I also wanted the album on my iPod and didn't want to pay for it twice tbh. I downloaded the music and some files were allegedly flac and some were cd quality, then used mediahuman to convert them to alac so I could get them onto itunes. Synced my iPod and the ones that were supposedly flac were mega staticy. So yesterday I plugged my iPod back in and used the iTunes "convert to alac" option and it made copies of the whole album in alac. I deleted the old files and kept the copies and synced my iPod. The songs sounded fine on my computer headset, but playing from my iPod they are still staticy (but maybe not AS bad?) Is there a way to actually fix them or am I gonna have to just purchase the album from iTunes?

Severe weather is in the forecast for my area today so I'm currently making sure I have flashlights and batteries and blankets ready. I'm also going to bring my favorite plushies to the basement, but I feel kind of stupid for worrying about them. Like if the storm is really that bad, I'm going to have much bigger problems than lost plushies. Ultimately the safety of my family and pets is the most important thing, and the pets are the first and sometimes the only thing I grab, but I would be really sad if all my plushies got swept away in a tornado. Especially a couple that would be really hard to replace, like my beloved Fluffnest raccoon.
Idk, I'm still gonna bring them downstairs today because it's my house and I do what I want, but still part of me feels like as a grown adult I shouldn't be that worried about them.
Edit: I knew y'all would understand 🥰 I ended up finding a big tote bag which I put 4 of my bigger plushies in and put it downstairs with the other emergency supplies. I have my 2 little ones (including this bat!) with me upstairs but I can easily toss them in my purse which I will bring downstairs with me.
I've been using my iPod some of the time but still holding on to streaming. I switched from Spotify to Qobuz for a few months, but I just canceled my subscription and decided to just focus on building my music library! Basically I realized I already own most of my favorite music, and it would cost about the same to just buy an album every month that I can own forever. So if I'm spending the money anyway...might as well be on something I own. (pic is of my iPod on the back of my Kindle)
