Question about car lease voluntary repossession

My ex wife turned in her Mercedes a couple of months ago with a $35k balance. I'm pretty sure the car went to auction and she hasn't heard anything and doesn't want to call. There hasn't been anything negative reported on her credit, MB just now shows the balance at 0. She's asking me what's coming next and I don't know. After the car is sold do they sell the balance to a collection agency? Is there a reason MB hasn't put this on her credit report? or they just haven't gotten around to it yet? Thanks.

HOA Selective Enforcement?

I moved to a new neighborhood a year ago, I don't move often but there's always something I don't notice. The neighborhood is 100% front entry homes with two car garages and kind of stacked together. My garage is well organized but space is lacking and I'm looking at the trash and recycling bins and wondering where are people putting these things? So next time I go somewhere I take notice and these things are littering the neighborhood, in the yard, driveway, etc. It's an eyesore for sure but if someone doesn't have space in their garage (most people) what is someone supposed to do? So guess what, my trash bins have been sitting next to my garage the same as everyone else and I haven't really given it a second thought. So a few weeks ago I receive a violation notice from the HOA for improperly storing my trash and recycling bins. Apparently it is a violation for the bins to be viewable from the street and must be hidden inside the garage or on the side of the house blocked by some kind of fence or screen obscuring them from view. I'm thinking wow these people have their work cut out and if I've been here a year without them noticing how long has everyone else been getting away with it? The HOA is more than capable of enforcing and compelling homeowners to abide by their rules so why are all of these trash bins still out? Have they just decided now is the time to enforce this or are they just picking on a few people or did one person just decide to report me only? I have gone back and forth with the HOA and they are insisting I have to take care of it regardless of what anyone else does. At this point I honestly don't care, I'm temporarily parking my car in the sun all day to make room for the trash bins and can find a long term solution if I have to but if I don't start seeing trash bins disappear around the neighborhood quickly they are going to have to let me put my car back in my garage or start properly enforcing this.

[TX] [SFH] HOA Selective Enforcement

I purchased a home in Frisco about a year ago and have recently received a violation notice stating that trash and recycling bins must not be visible from the street. The neighborhood is populated exclusively by front entry homes and short of storing these in the garage, building a custom enclosure on the side of the house or dragging them around the house to the back yard there is nowhere to put them. I personally can't put them in my garage b/c I have cars, the first 20 yards of the side of my house is blocked by a gas meter, air conditioners and electrical panels so I have them parked in the same spot the previous owner did which is the corner of my driveway by the garage door. I'm almost 60 and have back issues and dragging these things 20-30 yards across a sloped lawn I think would be unpleasant for anyone, God forbid it's raining and muddy on trash day. While I have not been officially fined at this point the HOA doesn't care about my personal circumstances and has insisted the bins be removed from view. So what I am taking issue with is 80% of the homes in a 300 lot community have their trash bins in front of or on the side of their homes and are visible from the street. I have no way to know who has been warned or fined but I have spoken with a few neighbors and none of them have been contacted. Texas has HOA laws that address inconsistent enforcement. I have had violations in other neighborhoods I have lived in but it was for something unique to my property and not something present in the majority of homes in the neighborhood. Just looking for some info on what I can do with this. Thanks,.

Help with GFCI Fault

I have a GFCI outlet that is tripping. I installed a new outlet and it is still tripping. I connected the line wires only and it stayed on fine. Reconnect load wires and it trips again so I assume the problem is somewhere downstream of the outlet. Worth noting that the outlet does not trip right away, it will stay on even with everything plugged in for 5-10 minutes. To further complicate matters this is for my back yard. From what I can see the GFCI outlet is powering pool lights, an in ground speaker system, landscape lights, two power outlets and a light switch. The pool lights are off, I unplugged the speaker system and landscape lights, unplugged anything that was plugged into the outlets and turned the light switches off. All of the wiring is buried. All of the outlets are housed in proper waterproof enclosures. And the house is about 3 years old if it matters. Hoping there may be some kind of simple fix before I call out the electrician. Thank you!

PayPal Freezing Funds Without Cause of Notice

I've been processing client transactions with PayPal for 23 years and have run millions of dollars through their platform. I went to transfer some funds to my bank today and my account is blocked. Not for some kind of fraud or illegal account access or any kind irregularity. It looks like they sent me an email yesterday requesting some basic information and asked me to respond by August 28, that's it. Apparently my account has been immediately frozen with no notice pending receipt of this information that they said they wanted by August 28. I called PayPal and tough shit answer the questions or you don't get your money. This is bollocks, I will have a new bank before the week is out.

MBFS Voluntary Reposession

My ex wife just turned in her GLC 300 because she couldn't keep making payments. I'm in the dark on process, what to expect and how to mitigate damage to her credit. I assume the car will be sold at auction and proceeds will help pay the amount she owes. If she pays the bank what she owes what will she end up with on her credit report? Will MBFS settle for less than the total amount she owes if she can't pay it? If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.
