Divarata Kefalonia

It is our first time in Greece and have decided to visit Kefalonia.
We found a lovely villa in Divarata, which is around 6 minute drive from Myrtos beach and under 20 mins from Asos and eastern coastal towns. Is this a good place to stay? I haven’t heard much about it.

For context:

Unfortunately a lot of the hotels / villas in Fiskardo and Asos, which we hear are the most unique and beautiful parts of Kefalonia, are sold out because we are kind of booking without much time in advance.

Ideally we didn’t want to stay in Argostoli because it seems like it’s less magical in terms of natural beauty? We will probably drive down for a day or an evening though at minimum. Also, we didn’t want to stay in areas that are all about resorts and less about the beach if that makes sense? From research and friends we were told the north and northeast was the best place for us.

I’m trying to plan a family trip for July and can’t decide between Crete and Ionian island hopping (probably Zakynthos and Kefalonia, maybe Lefkada too). We want to spend around 5-7 nights and definitely want to prioritize beaches over hiking but are open to both. None of us have been to Greece.

Which option is more affordable? If there is a significant difference it matters but otherwise it isn’t a huge factor.

Thanks!
