Listing condo in January?
I’m planning a move to a senior community two hours away in early December. Having survived the coldest winter on record I don’t want to repeat the experience. I won’t be ready to move until then. I will need to sell my townhouse condo.
Concern is whether it’s better to list asap once the place is cleared or wait until March. I do plan to price to sell. Very few buyers want to tour homes for sale in January but waiting means two months minimum of condo fees, utilities and hiring someone to check on the property; freezing pipes are a problem here. This community is comprised of mostly middle aged and young seniors; doesn’t appear to families with children.
