We move out of the apartment in 3 weeks (got the job offer today) and it’s either make this repair look good, or fork out $800 for the room to be carpeted.

Whole apartment has carpet less than 1yr old. Our little shit(zu) ripped up a portion in the entryway of the master bedroom. The old maintenance guy here was able to find me a scrap of carpet to patch in. I’m happy with the repair, but it’s a tall pile and now I have to wear it in so it matches the rest of the room. Any advice on how to make it blend in??

Also, the repair is maybe 8x8”. The scrap material I have left is only 14x20”
