1 in 20 Time Trial - Sun, 27 Sep 2026

The annual 1 in 20 hill climb time trial is coming up this September on Sunday the 27th. It's open to all AusCycling members with at least a lifestyle membership* or an event day membership. This is run as round 3 of the VTTS but is also open to those who are just interested in setting a time on the 1 in 20. If you're new to time trials, this is a great opportunity to pin a number on and have a go! You don't have to be fast, and a lot of people use it as their own personal time they want to beat.

The 1 in 20 is a 6.6km hill climb that has an average grade of 5%. It begins in The Basin and takes you winding up Mount Dandenong to Sassafras. It is suitable for both beginners and expert climbers. After you descend back down there are plenty of cafe's to unwind at with presentations being held in the park across the road.

The road will be open to traffic but there will be traffic marshals in place to help control traffic.

Sunday 27 Sep 2026, starting from 9am. Start order: J11, J13, J15, J17, Women Non-Aero, Men Non-Aero, Para-cycling, Women C, Men C, Women B, Men B, Women A, Men A.

Casey Fields (Cranbourne) Criterium 25 Jul 2026 - Hosted by Blackburn Cycling Club

https://entryboss.cc/races/30688

Riders from all clubs with an Auscycling race license are welcome. Prizes in each grade, with A grade having $150 up for grabs thanks to our sponsor Treadli. Riding for all levels - fully closed cycling facility for increased safety. Food and drinks available for riders and spectators.

$10 entry for juniors, $20 for seniors

If you haven't raced before, this is the perfect race to sign up for to learn how to race. E/Novice is set up for children to build skills, but D grade is the perfect place for beginners to learn how to race. The course is beginner friendly and you can actually pedal through every corner if you want. Refunds will be issued if the weather is unsafe to race in.

Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. Even if you have general questions about what an auscycling membership is and which one you need to get. (There is a 4 week trial available for new members too!)
