Made a parody recruitment poster in the style of Russian military contract service ads

>REAR-ECHELON SERVICE. DUBAI CITY. ENLIST NOW!

>The 33rd "Damned" Infantry Battalion is seeking recruits.

>NOT HEROISM! (Underlined: Civilian Evacuation)

>Competitive pay

>Sign-on bonuses & privileges

>Full benefits package (including water)

I was a bit hesitant to post this here at first since all the text is in Russian, but I really wanted to share the artwork.

>!The joke is based on a popular local web-trope where people parody military ads. In real sketchy UAV recruitment ads, they always write "NOT ASSAULT" (which basically translates to promising a "Non-Assault MOS" or a safe rear job). Russian internet community turned it into a meme template for different gaming universes. For example, in Pirate-themed memes, the poster says "NOT BOARDING!", in Viking-themed ones, it's "NOT A BERSERKER!", and for Spec Ops, I tweaked it to "NOT HEROISM!" to fit the game's vibe!<

P.S. Fun fact: when this hit some mainstream RU gaming pages, a bunch of casuals totally shat their pants before realizing it's just a game meme.

Looking at the game models, I noticed that the magazines have airsoft-specific feed lips and latches.

So, technically, the "Dubai Incident" was just a massive airsoft milsim game that got way too out of hand. Do you feel like a LARPer yet?
