Topps Chrome Platinum is perhaps my favorite set. I always try to find time to open packs with my wife (my fiance technically, we're getting married in less than a month), since she loves the look of chrome cards and is a big baseball fan herself.

Earlier this week, on a whim she bought us two tickets to the Angels vs Rockies game. Tomoyuki Sugano was the Starting Pitcher that night.

After work today, I decided to return the favor to her by buying two blasters at Target for us to open tonight. I let her pick whichever box of the two she wanted to open.

INSANITY that not only does she pull a superfractor 1/1 from my favorite set, but also of the guy we just watched pitch.

We are starting the rainbow btw. Life is good.
