As much as I want Portugal to win, football can be cruel. That's why I wanted to write this before the match, not after it. Because emotions after the game—whether from fans, rivals, or the media—often become louder than reason. If Portugal win, we'll celebrate together✨ If they lose, we already know what's coming. Trolls will flood social media. Agenda-driven posts will go viral. Headlines will be written as if 90 or 120 minutes somehow erased everything that came before🤡

But they won't.

A legacy built over 20 years isn't erased by one match🐐 The records. The trophies. The comebacks. The nights he carried his clubs and his country. The discipline, consistency, and longevity that inspired millions around the world. None of that disappears because of one result.

I genuinely think Dirk Kuyt has been one of the best cards I've used over the last 3-4 months.

Looking at the stats (640 matches, 101 goals, 52 assists), they might not look insane at first, but that's because I use him almost exclusively as a Super-Sub. He usually comes on after the 60th minute as an automatic substitution and has become one of the most important players in my squad.💪🏻

I don't even use him as a traditional RWF. I mostly play him as a wide second striker, where he can run into space, link up play, create chances, and still arrive in the box to score important goals.

He honestly gives me a similar feeling to PES 2021 Super-Sub Inzaghi. Not because they're identical players, but because whenever he comes on, he changes games. Stat-wise, he's the definition of a jack-of-all-trades⚡

He doesn't have ridiculous 90+ stats everywhere, but almost everything important sits in the high 80s, and with a proper build his Offensive Awareness and Balance can comfortably reach the 90s. Passing, dribbling, finishing, movement—he doesn't really have a glaring weakness🔥

What I love most is that he's always involved in decisive moments. Sometimes he scores the winner, sometimes he provides the pass before the assist, and sometimes his movement alone creates the space that leads to the goal. Those contributions don't always show up in the stats, but they've been invaluable during my Division pushes.

He's exactly the type of player every balanced squad loves having. Reliable, versatile, hardworking, and unbelievably clutch off the bench. One of those cards that quietly wins you games✨
