Malformation or something else?

Hi! My dad breeds crested geckos and today while I was visiting we came across this little guy, and I thought I could try to ask here mostly just if someone had a similar situation.
It looks like the spine is not straight but from what my dad says it only became evident in the last few days. Before then he looked fine.
Does any of you know what’s wrong with him and if it could be something different and not an actual malformation. And most of all, if it is a malformation do you think he could grow up and live normally or it would just make him suffer?
He was born in November (11.23.25)

Cleaning up crew for community tank

Hi everybody! I recently added fish to my new tank, it took a very long time to establish properly but now everything is starting to look good, the parameters are perfect, the algae is pretty much gone and the plants are growing incredibly. I’m extremely happy with the outcome, at one point I was losing a bit of hope but everything turned out fine.
Only thing that’s bugging me is how much staff I see on the bottom of the tank, I try to keep up with it but I was also wondering if there’s maybe a fish/snail/shrimp who could help with that.
